Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Ros we love you and we will miss you so much. So many great memories of time well spent talking and laughing and watching the world go by from the front porch together. Peace to you and all of your friends and family. ❤️

    • Thank you all so very kindly for loving Rosalind. Our family is truly thankful and grateful. God be with us 🙏🏽

  2. We are praying for comfort and peace during this difficult time for the family.
Ros, You have been a part of the Thurman family since I can remember. Your presence, your loving kindness, thoughtfulness and smile will be missed. Thank you for always texting me and sending me motivational messages and to see how I was doing. You will be missed. ❤️

  3. To the family of Rosalind Winston,“Please know that I am praying for your peace and comfort. You know, when we lose some one we love, Heaven gains an angel. Ros, I have missed you being my neighbor since the day you left. it has never been the same. I really enjoyed you and your family. You had the prettiest head of hair, just gorgeous. Now, you have found peace on the otherside and can rest. Angel!
    love Kim

  4. Ros, my day 1, my friend, my sister. I must say, I truly hate to see you go. But to know that you are at peace now brings me joy and comfort. I wanna thank you for allowing me and Joy to be a part of your life and always being there for me when I came to Milwaukee. You go and take your rest now, and until we meet again..” I LOVE YOU”..RIH SIS..❤️❤️

  5. Ros, it was a pleasure connecting and working with you at the hospital. Time placed distance in us connecting but you always would send me a Hoilday text message which I appreciated. My condolences and prayers for your family and friends. To the family, give yourself grace. The lived experience of grief doesn’t conform to a clear linear path of “moving forward,” and there is no one way to process profound loss. Take it day by day.

  9. Ros,
    You’ve been in my life
Since I was 7. You watched me grow up and always have been there if I ever needed you , there are so many memories ! We had a lot of good conversations as I got older. If I ever needed advice you were there to talk , you showed me how to get out of my shell when I moved to Milwaukee and get out and meet people. Because of that , I met a ton of
Lifelong friends . One fond memory is when I asked if
You knew where I could get a Dale Earnhardt Jr shirt and you called every Walmart in Milwaukee! I’ll never forget that , I’ll also never forget going shopping with you and hitting every store we could haha those are things I’ll always remember.
I’m heartbroken to know you are gone but I know you are alive in spirit , in a much better place . I love you and thank you for always texting me and checking on me throughout the years .

    Love ,
    Trey

  10. Ros,
You are my daughters aunt and you are my sister from another mother. We didn’t see each other a lot but when we did it was always long good conversations and lots of laughs. I am going to miss not being able to pick up the phone and talk to you. Words can not say what I feel in my heart. Rest in Peace my Sister.
    Love Nana

  11. To My dear friend Ros, I will remember all the good laughs we had over shopping, having lunch or dinner, getting a tattoo and most of all the thong conversations. Thank you for being a good friend and confidant. I will miss you greatly. Rest in peace my friend. Love you Janett.

  12. Ros, thank you for the talks and always thinking of me! I’m so thankful we have memories together. You’re forever in my heart ❤️

Uplifting prayers for a peace beyond understanding for the family. God Bless.

    Tanika
