We just found out today 7-9-26 that Mark has passed away. His family was the closest friends to the Shepherd and Carson family growing up at Tabernacle Community Baptist church. Mark’s father was best friends with my brother Sterling Shepherd growing up as teenagers. Mark’s grandfather, Deacon Clarence King was best friends with my father, Brother James A. Carson and they sang together in the Male Chorus and the Gospel Chorus. They also sang in a group called the Gospel Eveready’s back in the 1950’s. I would often visit Mark’s grandmother, Mother Henrietta King until she passed away. So many wonderful memories with this family. Please know we are praying for you at this difficult time.
