  1. May you find comfort in knowing that the life God purposes for Jannie, that he promises her, is yet to come. Please carefully read and cherish Jesus’ words: “For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him (restore his life) on the last day.–John 6:40. God’s will is for Jannie to live forever!

  2. We are so sorry for your loss. When this happens in our family we need more than human strength. God and his Son can provide what we need. Please review these scriptures : John 5:28-29 “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” Revelation 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

  3. Dear Willis Family: My deepest sympathies on your loss. When we lose someone we love it is like we have a missing limb. That feeling won’t go away completely until we can be with our loved one again. It is good that Almighty God has promised just such a gift. We read in the Holy Bible at Acts 24:15 “And I have hope toward God, … that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” Yes, a bringing back to life, here on earth, where we can see and be with our loved ones again….that is what we want and miss….It is good that God has promised just such a gift. Almighty God longs to restore our loved ones to us. The man Job said of God at Job 14:15: “You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands.” The True God longs to return our precious loved ones to us by means of the resurrection, thus healing our broken hearts …… Please watch the comforting video: “Why Did Jesus Die?”

  4. Please accept my sincerest condolence for the loss of your loved one. It’s a very stressful time when a loved one dies. Turning to these scriptures can give us a great deal of comfort. They are found at: John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15; and Revelation 21:4. For more information about God’s trustworthy promise of a resurrection please visit jw.org.
