From the time Big Ma left her home in Kosciusko, Mississippi to be with her children in Milwaukee, she brought with her the value and importance of helping her children, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren. It did not matter if her sons were hard headed or her daughters were stubborn, as children that is the way we can be, she loved them and believed in all of them. She brought the spirit of humility remembering and cherishing what she had, sons and daughters who were successful in what they did. I remember when you would watch Eric and Shuran and tell them to quit throwing the beach ball back and forth in the house, little did you know, I was the one who egged them on to toss it to each other. You were a strong and I do mean physically strong woman with some powerful legs, calves, through your hard work. I guess that is why I worked out so hard to develop my calves as it reflected being sturdy. You could out walk me any day. Thank you Big Ma for being a BIG MA to everyone who met you. Rest in peace in God’s almighty embrace and give peace, comfort and strength to your children.
I will never forget the times as a kid I spent with you riding all over the city on the bus. Til this day I think you could put walk any one on this planet 😂 love you and miss you.
