My Godmother…such a sweetheart and best friend of my mother. She and Donald were always seen as the “coolest” of the Milwaukee group when we were kids. My heart goes out to the family. Love always, Tracy Goggans
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
MY TRUE FRIEND. THANK YOU. LOVE YOU. JOY
To the family of Fran Jefferson, Evelyn and I extend to you our deepest and most sincere expressions of sympathy. We pray that God will give you strength during these hours.
George & Evelyn Hughes
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Fran was like family to me and my sisters. She was one of my Mom’s closest friends therefore, by default she has been one of several very treasured mother figures. She has been there for us our entire lives giving us words of encouragement, and straightening us out when we needed straightening out. Fran was recently there to comfort us through the loss of both our parents in the last few months, encouraging us to be strong. There are no words to express how much we value her and thank her for all the kindness she has showed us throughout the years. I will miss her hugs, her laughter, and quick witted humor. But, I am comforted in knowing she is with the Lord and reunited with my parents, as well as many other beloved Calvary friends and AKA sorors who have gone before her. Rest in peace Fran. I love you always.
On behalf of my mother, Dorothy B. Gore….we send our sincere condolences. We are hopeful that your fondest memories sustain you during this difficult time. Sincerely, Cecelia Gore
We’ll remember Fran as ALWAYS with a beautiful smile. We would exchange pleasantries about the children/grandchildren. We saw her the Friday evening before she passed. I’m glad I gave her an extra hug.
Our condolences to the family. She will be missed.
We wish to express our sincere sympathy to Donald and the Jefferson
May God’s Highest Blessings be with you. Fran surely will be missed.
Fran was a kind, thoughtful, caring, sisterly and a generous person. She was the chapter president of the local graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority when I joined 50 years ago. Fran was a creative and resourceful leader who will be greatly missed. Linda Presberry
Such a wonderful woman! We shall miss her sweet smile, and charm. Her fantastic Scrabble games will be unmatched! Our love and condolences to Fran’s family.
