  1. Mama, I know you made it into Glory, and you’re with Jesus. I watched your life, and you not only spoke it, you LIVED it! You’re the smartest person I have ever known, and I’m still proud to call you My Mama. Missing you each day….still hard to believe you’re gone sometimes…😓

  2. I will always remember her as a woman of kind words. Words full of encouragement and inspiration. Words of purpose and positive direction. Thank you Sis Fumbanks for being a part of the foundation of my upbringing. Always remembered, never forgotten. Rev Jeff Saffold

  3. Missionary Fumbanks was my prayer partner and best friend, We shared many good times together and I will miss her a lot.

  4. My heartfelt prayers for God’s strength and peace to comfort each heart that is feeling the loss of your beloved Wife and Mother.
May she forever rest in the arms of our Saviour🙏
    Rita Hardrick-Brown and Bronson Hardrick💖

  5. It is our prayer that God will strengthen Brother Sid and the entire Family in the loss of your loved one.She was very warm, pleasant and easy to talk to. We enjoyed our travels together and will miss her.
Trust in the Lord and never cease to pray.
Marshall E. Tharpe and Marian Tharpe – Racine Wi

  6. Mother Ellen Fumbanks always there when needed with a prayer along with speaking in the Holy Spirit. You always had a special word of encouragement. When I talked with you four days before God called you home, you reminded me that the race was a God given Victory. To the family you all are in our Hearts, Thoughts and Prayers. We feel so blessed to have known such a great woman of God. From Mo. Mary Gilmore and Sis. Ruthie and family.” To God Be The Glory.”

  7. Mother Fumbanks is a veritable gem! Her love for God and people was very evident! She was a fervent Prayer warrior who knew how to contact God and to get answers! I shall never forget her!

  8. I had the blessed honor of meeting Mrs. Fumbanks when we were both taking child care trainings about 17 years ago. During our talks which turned into praying, I found out that, she knew my Mother from various church functions. Mrs. Fumbanks, such a woman of God- who walked in grace and true love. She exemplified how a real Proverbial Virtuous woman should live. I love her and will see her again , as well as my own precious Mother-Arlene, in Heavenly Glory and bliss. To the family, I pray Gods comfort, strength and His peace until we see her again. Thank you for sharing the gift of your precious Mother with alot of us who became motherless. Your Mom did the real ministry work, of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

    Love in Christ Jesus,
    Mrs. Leah Noid-Harrington

    • A great woman of God who was always an encouraging spirit and a inspiration to all who would come in contact with her. I can yet see her joyful face as she blessed me and Sidney with the shared title of “Sons of Thunder”. It is and will always be my endeavor to proclaim the gospel of our Lord in honor of Sis Fumbanks, my mother Sis Clara Saffold and other pioneers in name of the reason savior Jesus, the Christ.

  9. MAMA,
There are no words for how much I love and miss you!!!! It’s only been a few days, but I pray that God continues to strengthen us as we adjust to your transition back to Him. You were a Giant of a Woman who stood among many, but few compared to you. Spirituality, Beauty, Poise, Intellect, Love. Compassion, and Personality-you had it all……Rest in Jesus, I will see you in Paradise…

Your First Born Son, Sidney Jr
