Tyrell Scott

I am one of Tyrell cousins from Brooklyn NY. I remember growing up in Brooklyn and seeing him. He was kind and loving. When my parents passed he reached out to me. Heaven has gained a wonderful person. Condolences to all family & friends.

Ty, I remember the many discussions we had talking about work, family, and life’s challenges. At work, you were always willing to help when needed and willing to take on tasks that no one else would do. You always told me “I gotchya” and you followed through. I will miss working with you and your friendship. You will be missed my friend. Condolences and prayers to your family.

Ty- my main man! It saddens me that I have to reach out to you this way but I want you to know you are truly missed. You kept me on my toes and held me up whenever you saw me feeling down. One of the best people to work with at Komatsu and always willing to help and make others better. When I first started as a company employee you always made coming to work easy and expressed your appreciation and words of encouragements. Ty you will forever be missed, our hearts go out to all your family and friends that cared deeply for you. You are a man’s man and always willing to help everyone out. You’d give the shirt off your back for any one of us and you taught me that even when things are tough around us we need to keep our heads up, move forward, and do it with a smile. You called me “boss man” but we both knew you didn’t need one, you treated me like a friend. I’m extremely grateful to meet someone like you and a great privilege to work with you at Komatsu. There are no words which adequately express the sorrow felt as a result of the passing of Tyrell Scott. Known as “Ty” to much of the Komatsu Logistics Family, Ty was a dedicated, committed and passionate leader while fulfilling his duties as a company official functioning as a supervisor. Ty was a spirited leader who always kept the interests of the company In the forefront while accommodating the needs of the people who reported directly to him. Ty was so very much respected and beloved by the people with whom he worked. His calm demeanor and compassion for others made him a favorite amongst all. From a personal perspective, I had tremendous respect for Ty. His storytelling capability regarding his youth and experience out East (Brooklyn) always held me captivated; wanting more of the history and backstory of this beloved man. We connected on an number of fronts as it relates to the struggles and tumult of a trying upbringing and multiple relocations. Yet those conversations always ended with a closing remark or two about how thankful and fortunate we all are to be together, to be healthy and to be, in his words “home”. He served as a reminder to me to always be thankful and to never forget my roots. He had a clear understanding and and a sublime means of detailing the relationship between where he came from, his experience and how it made him who he is today. Such rich wisdom, from such a wise man. He spoke of his family in very high regard and without saying it, we all knew/know how proud he was and equally how much Love Ty had in his heart for his entire family. We now find ourselves at a difficult crossroad. One where we struggle with the temporary separation between ourselves and such a great friend but will always keep, in the highest regard, the memory of a very dear man and family member. You will forever be missed yet you leave a lasting legacy of love, empathy and compassion. Thank you for the lessons, and the memories. Godspeed Ty, Christopher Farmer
