  1. To the Washington Family: Please accept my heartfelt condolences regarding Tony’s death. Permit me, please, to share a poem about “God’s Promise of Paradise” mentioned at Luke 23:43: “A paradise our God has promised, By means of Christ’s Millennial Reign, When he’ll blot out all sin and error, Removing death and tears and pain.
A paradise the earth will be. With eyes of faith, this we can see. This promise Christ will soon fulfill, For he delights to do God’s will.
Soon here on earth, as God has purposed, His Son will cause the dead to rise. Then it will be as Jesus promised: ‘You’ll be with me in Paradise.’
A paradise the earth will be. With eyes of faith, this we can see. This promise Christ will soon fulfill, For he delights to do God’s will. The Paradise, our Lord has promised, And he is now our reigning King. We daily thank our loving Father, And from our hearts, his praises sing.
A paradise, the earth will be. With eyes of faith, this we can see. This promise Christ will soon fulfill, For he delights to do God’s will.”
May the entire Washington family envision perfect life in God’s restored paradise surrounded by Tony and other loved ones when God’s will is done on earth! (Matthew 6:10)

  2. I’m so sorry about the loss of Tony. My deepest condolences goes out to the family. We all look forward to seeing our loved ones again according to God promises found at (John 5:28,29)

  3. Dear Washington Family: I am so sorry for the loss and I am sure you all will miss Tony very much. When someone we love dies it feels like a giant hand has reached into our chest and ripped our heart out. And it feels like a pain that we will never recover from…. But, we have a wonderful hope. The apostle Paul wrote about it in the Holy Bible at Acts 24:15 which says: “And I have hope toward God,…..that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” We know that resurrection’s can take place because Jesus Christ raised people from the dead as recorded in the Holy Bible. Please read the following Bible accounts of resurrections Jesus Christ completed while he was on earth and hopefully they will bring you some comfort in the days ahead. The resurrection of Lazarus in John 11: 17-27 & 38-44; The widow of the city of Nain’s son at Luke 7:12–15; Jairus’ daughter at Luke 8:41, 42 & 49–56.
