  1. May the Guy family receive my condolences with the hope of your finding comfort! The hope found at John 3:16 is one that I personally treasure for my loved ones who have died: “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.” Imagine that! Sirdis has been offered the prospect of returning to life, exercising faith in Jesus, and never dying again. May we all avail ourselves to this gift of life!

  2. Hello. I’m Sheila and I am sending my condolences on your recent loss. I am one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and would like to ask you the question, can your dead loved one live again?

You will be surprised to find that in the Bible at Acts 24:15 it says, “There is going to be a resurrection.” Along with God’s promise to us at Revelation 21:3, 4.

It is my hope that this bit of information is of comfort to you. Please be sure to find videos, movies, articles, and even an online Bible – all free of charge for your use, along with information on the resurrection, and current events on JW.ORG

    May God be with you.

    Sincerely,
    Sheila M. Robinson

  3. Dear Guy Family: My deepest sympathies to all of you. Death is one of life’s greatest challenges that we as humans have to face. I too have suffered loss on many occasions, and have been comforted by others… During the earthly life and ministry of Jesus Christ he said, did and promised something that gives us comfort and hope. In the Holy Bible at John 11:11-14 Jesus likened death to sleep. This comforts us in two ways; 1) we are assured that our loved ones are not suffering or in pain. 2) If a person is just sleeping he can be awakened. Jesus Christ demonstrated this in the case of Lazarus at John 11:38-44. Jesus, called out to Lazarus, his friend who had died and was burried four days earlier, saying: “Lazarus, come out!” We hold out breath, as we stare at the opening of the tomb… From inside, slowly, Lazarus approaches the doorway of the tomb and emerges still bound in his burial cloth! The extreme sadness and grief of the gathered crowd turns to unbounded joy as they embrace their beloved Lazarus! Jesus Christ joyfully shouts: “…Free him and let him go!” (John 11:44) Jesus Christ, is now back in heaven and has been given “… All authority…in heaven and on the earth” (Matthew 28:18). He will soon do the same for us, inviting our loved ones to “come out” of the grave. (John 5:28, 29; Acts 24:15; John 6:40). Then we, together with our loved ones, will enjoy endless life on a beautifully restored earth (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Isaiah 11:6-9; Revelation21:3, 4). There is no one or nothing that can stop Jesus Christ from reuniting us with our beloved ones by means of a resurrection! ……. please watch the comforting video: Why Did Jesus Die?”

  4. In this sorrowful time, I would like to extend to you my heartfelt condolences. May God comfort your family during this difficult time. The Bible calls God “the source of life” at Psalm 36:9. The God who gave life to all of us is certainly capable of restoring life to someone who has died. For further information, please visit jw.org.
