Rev. James Davis, Jr.

Rev. James Davis, Jr. passed peacefully to eternal life Friday, April 3, 2020, at age 93. Beloved by 5 children, 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, he was preceded in death by wife Dorsey Davis (Fields) of 58 years, infant grandson Jonathan Johnson, and his parents James, Sr. and Vienna Davis (Sewell), and his 6 siblings. He was the founding pastor of the Lighthouse Gospel Chapel and retired as Pastor of Augustana Lutheran Church (ELCA). Plans for immediate family visitation are underway with a larger memorial service this fall. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the State of Wisconsin has mandated that funerals be limited to ten (10) people only.
