  1. To the Turner Family: Hoping that the scriptural answer to “what happens when someone dies” helps you envision peace, a hope, and a future for Ray! Jesus explained this at John 11:11, 13-14: “‘Lazarus our friend has fallen asleep, but I am traveling there to awaken him.’ Jesus, however, had spoken about his death. But they imagined he was speaking about taking rest in sleep. Then Jesus said to them plainly: ‘Lazarus has died.'” Just as Jesus reunited Lazarus with his family, he promises to resurrect Ray with his.–John 5:28-29. Have faith in this promise!

  2. I’m so sorry about the loss of “Ray”. May “the God of tender mercies comfort you all at this time of sorrow. (2Cor.1:3,4) We look forward to the future when Jehovah will “redeem” our love ones from the grave and take away the “sting of death” death forever. (Hosea 13:14)

  3. Dear Turner Family: Nothing saddens me more than to read of the death of someone so young. My heart goes out to all of you as you struggle to comprehend your loss. The mixed emotions of sadness and anger. I know it may be difficult to grasp this now, but Almighty God did not take Ray from you. He is a God of love (1John 4:8). Almighty God would never take Ray away from his family just to populate heaven. The imperfection we inherited from Adam & Eve is to blame. Adam and Eve chose to disobey God’s command (Genesis 2:16, 17) and brought upon us every kind of sickness, disease and death. (Genesis 3:17-19). Almighty God provides the glorious hope of the resurrection! (Acts 24:15; John 5:28, 29; John 6:40). He also promised “the righteous will possess the earth and live forever upon it. (Psalms 37:11, 29). At that time, there will be no more accidents, crime or violence that leaves mothers grief stricken and in tears. No more sickness of any kind, sorrow, old age or death (Isaiah 33:24; Job 33:25; Revelation 21:3, 4). This is a promise from Almighty God who cannot lie (Titus 1:2).
