  1. We are sorry to learn of Myrtis’ death and wish to offer some comfort of promises recorded in God’s word. The Bible makes it clear that God did not originally intend for humans to die but his purpose was and remains to be for them to spread the paradise throughout the earth and live forever on it. (Genesis 1:28) He has made arrangements through his Messianic Kingdom to restore life to those asleep in death. These lives are precious to him and are stored in his memory “for they are all alive to him.” (Luke 20:37-38) As a family, cherish this hope and pray that God’s will is done on earth very soon! (Matthew 6:10)

  2. To the Family of Sis Mertis Marks : l have fun memories of Myrtis . Pastor and Sis Pittman and the Springfield MBC in Bogue Chitto Miss sending our love, prayers, condolences to the family. May God bless you in your hour of sorrow.

  3. Dear Marks Family: When someone we love dies grief can overtake us like storm clouds that refuse to let the sun shine through. But keep 2Corinthians 4:6 in mind:  “For God is the one who said: “Let the light shine out of darkness,” and he has shone on our hearts to illuminate them with the glorious knowledge of God by the face of Christ.” ….. Almighty God has let the light shine through giving us a “a furure and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11). Our future and hope is in Jesus Christ and the promised resurrection of the dead (Acts 24:15. & John 5:28, 29). We also have the grand promise from Almighty God of endless life on a beautifully restored paradise earth (Isaiah 35:5,6; Isaiah 11:6-9; Isaiah 51:3)…. This wonderful hope is a ray of sun shine with a breeze that will blow away the storm clouds of unending grief.
