In obedience to Jesus, Jehovah’s Son, we pray: “Our Father in the heavens . . . Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth.” Major problems that no other government has been able to solve will no longer exist when Jesus rules the earth as God’s anointed King. Regarding death and Leon, 1 Corinthians 15:26 assures us: “The last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” Leon will be brought back to life with the prospect of never dying again. (John 3:16). Have faith in this promise!
Dear Keith Family: When someone we love dies grief can overtake us like storm clouds that refuse to let the sun shine through. But keep 2Corinthians 4:6 in mind: “For God is the one who said: “Let the light shine out of darkness,” and he has shone on our hearts to illuminate them with the glorious knowledge of God by the face of Christ.” ….. Almighty God has let the light shine through giving us a “a furure and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11). Our future and hope is in Jesus Christ and the promised resurrection of the dead (Acts 24:15. & John 5:28, 29). We also have the grand promise from Almighty God of endless life on a beautifully restored paradise earth (Isaiah 35:5,6; Isaiah 11:6-9; Isaiah 51:3)…. This wonderful hope is a ray of sun shine with a breeze that will blow away the storm clouds of unending grief…….. I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.
