  1. My Favorite teacher ever… I’m 30 years old now and I still remember singing and dancing with her in middle school… Long live ♥️ You will never be forgotten ❤️

  2. Miss running up to you and receiving the biggest and loving huge. I felt protected whenever I was around you. I was always so proud to see all my aunts and uncles. You were the filling of all empty spaces. I love you Aunt Karen and miss you. Love Rinnie

  3. Hey Ms. Simmons, it wasn’t a long time and it wasn’t always good when we seen each other!! But I thing I can say and remember about you is.. you was definitely a Woman about not only your family but about your history and community!! I remember your daughter telling me things about how you used to travel all around to fight for reparations for OUR people.. I remember when I was fluded with liquor in my system in front of SPENCER and instead of calling the laws on me.. You would quote a scripture and ask/tell me to go home!! It’s many more things I can say but hey!! Just know that you “MS SIMMONS” DEFINITELY HAVE A PLACE IN MY HEART!! U WILL DEFINITELY BE ALWAYS LOVED AND MISS!!
    ALWAYS,,,,,

  5. May God continue to comfort and guide you during this difficult time; and may the “peace of God that surpasses all understanding guard your heart and your mental powers”. Philippians 4:7.

  6. Easter as a child at Aunt Karen’s, such a special woman, to So many of us…,Thank you! Rest on beautiful.🙏😘😘

  7. I thank God for blessing us with such a great aunt. Aunt Karen, you were such a strong woman. Loving, caring and inspired so many of us. I thank you for giving me some of the best childhood memories. You were that aunt, that took time out to take us skating, etc growing up. Also one that encouraged us to be involved in church as youth. I pray for peace & love in your name always. May God keep us all united, supportive & remember how your love impacted us all! Thank you & we miss you & forever will apart of you live on!
