  1. Hey, stacy, i was blessed 2b @ ur dads funeral. Although i will miss him. He was a great help with my golf game, and he was a great man 2b around. May GOD bless u and give u comforting grace.

  2. Daddy, so much of me is made from what i learned from you! You will always be with me like a handprint on my heart. Always and forever. R.I.H.

  3. To my granddaddy I will always love YOU!!! you taught me how to love unconditionally and defend myself and mama at all cost. I have followed you around all day on the golf course cherishing the time with you. Every day spent with you were a life session, molding me into an outstanding woman. I am your first Grandchild, you spoiled me to no end. I appreciate you being present and vested in my life. I have seen you cry three times in my life, you were a strong, dedicated, dependable, stubborn, loving man.

I am so proud to have you for my granddaddy.. Kiss my mommy for me

    Love always
    Zina McKinnie-Smith

  4. When I think of the love that I have for George A. McKinnie, my Step Dad, I can start by taking out the word “Step” as he has been a force in my life from childhood, even before the 44 years of marriage to my mom, Louise McKinnie. As a young child, I felt his kindness and acceptance. This continued throughout the years and was a comfort that I could depend on. His many saying made me smile and he took the time to educate me on the game of golf as we watch Tiger Woods and other golfers for hours. He also was quite savvy on current events and other subjects. And of course, he would diagnose my car issues, just by me telling him how it sound (he usually was right). All this to say that he will be truly missed but his memory will always be embedded deep in my heart. So, RIH, Dad.

  5. May you rest in peace thanks for the many wonderful memories and fun
times that we shared. May God Bless Louise and your family.

  6. His favorite place on this side of heaven – Lincoln Park golf course with a close second being the Clinton Rose Center. My Dad was blessed with so many friends and family who he absolutely loved. We all know he loved the game of golf but he really enjoyed teaching the “young fellas and ladies” how to play. You all shared a special place in his heart. ~ Stacy
