Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Ms. Simmons you often cross my mind. But tonight you and Armond and Austin were on my mind heavy. Some of my most fond memories were right in your living room, backyard and on your porch. I’d give anything to go back to those days. You were truly an angel. Thankful I was able to speak with you. I pray the family is well.

  2. Tears fall every time I feel you, think of you, and wish things were how they use to be. I can’t believe I face the biggest fear in my life and that’s losing you physically on earth. I need you more, I need to hear your voice. I am not the same Rinnie. I am not!! Miss you grandma.

  3. I feel so lost without you grandma. This pain hurt so bad. I want my grandma back. I want my auntie back. Holidays are not the same, birthdays are not the same. This feels so unreal.

  4. Mama, I just don’t have the words. It’s been almost a year now and I’m stilling feeling so empty without you. When you left, part of me left. I love and miss you so terribly. I want my Mama back, but I know God got you in a better place and you are not in all that pain. It was so hard for me seeing you suffering and when you left. My life is not the same without you. I wish I could have done more for you. I need and love you so much, but God loves you more. Mama you taught me everything I know. Till we meet again.

  8. My sincere condolences,The loss of a loved one is never easy.May you find comfort in the wonderful promise found in Gods Word at Revelation21 verse 4,,And he will wipe out every tear from there eyes, and Death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away..Again my condolences to you and the Family,,,,,,Charles Holliman

  9. Joyce Lewis We wonder why the godliest of our family die, Aunt Flo was so generous, and so devoted. The reason is in Jesus prayer: β€œFather, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me , be with me where I am. Our beloved Aunt Flo cannot be with Christ and with us too. Even thou it’s agony, we can say Jesus not our will but thine be done. Rest on Angel, my sweet Aunt Flo. I love you as you did me.

  10. I remember Flossie as always very nice & never saw her in a bad mood. She was always fun to be around. I send my condolences to the family, always remember she was such a kind and lovely person. Fern Hamilton

  11. Aunt Flo was such a beautiful person for the little time I had with her. She had that motherly way about her and her wisdom was so profound. I am so glad that I got to meet her and encounter her presence on this side of heaven. Until we meet again. Rest in peace. My condolences to ALL of the family. God bless you all.

  12. Michael you and your family have our prayers.Judt know we’re hurting but God cares and you’re so loved. The Taylor Familyβ€ΌοΈπŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½

  13. My aunt Flo was a kind and loving person. Everyone she encountered became her family and ours in one way or another. She served and loved the lord wholeheartedly. Raised and molded some of the best souls I have been blessed with as family. Aunt Flo you maybe gone but never forgotten. For you live on in so many of us. I like to thank you for all the love and encouragements that you have given me. When ever I needed advice or just to talk you took the time to listen. I remember calling you for Crackling to make corn bread and you sent via postal service just for me. I love you in so many ways that it can’t be explained. My mommy Joyce sends her love and my daddy Joe Morris sends his love. My father would also like to thank you for being one of the many aunts whom took part in raising him. We will always cherish the time with you that God has blessed us with. Now you are going home to help out from above. We love you Auntie Fossay Simmons.

  14. A heart and soul of pure gold. My prayers are with all of the family. May God comfort you all with his everlasting love until the day He reunites us all back together again with our beloved Aunt Flossie for all eternity. I love you all.

  15. Flossie Marie Simmons I’m going to miss you very much I’m going to miss the way we used to laugh together and the best joke was on my mom when she said what’s on my face I said the eyebrows your skin your lips your nose your eyes and you bust up laughing you could not stop laughing I’m going to miss you and I love you dearly your nephew Timothy McCants

  16. My best friend I will dearly miss you taught me a lot about life and always was there to capture me when I fall we’ll be missed but not ever forgotten until we meet again love you Ronnie β£οΈπŸ’žπŸ’ž

  17. Love you grandma. You were the BEST grandma that anyone could ask for. You are a mere reflection of the woman I am and the one that I am becoming. Words can’t express how I will miss you. I could vent to you about everybody without judgement and could also trust that you would go back to ask them about what I told you..πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.. I would laugh because that’s why I told you. The family dynamic will be very different. However, I thank God for the many years we had with you..man this seems so unreal..it happened so quickly..but God.. Love ..your granddaughter Tamika. 🌹

  18. Dear Shatoya and Family: In our biological mothers we did not get a choice. But sometimes in life we come across those we choose to call our mothers. These are the ones that are most precious to us. They take us into their hearts and homes, caring for us in ways that heal any emotional loss we may have experienced as a result of our biological parents. They teach us what it means to love, by sharing their love with us…… When they leave this earth in death, we don’t stop loving them and missing them or needing them. We would do almost anything to be with them again…… Thankfully the Holy Bible say: “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. (Acts 24:15) This means that we will see our loved ones again, alive in the flesh, here on earth! ……. Please watch the comforting video: “Why Did Jesus Die?”

  19. Simmons Family: Treasure the love and memories you shared with Ms. Flossie. Hold these close to your hearts and allow them to comfort you. Treasure, too, the promises God shares at Revelation 21:4. After God empowers Jesus to resurrect her on the last day, Ms. Flossie will never ever grow old, get sick, or even die again. Everlasting life in perfect health is her future!

  20. I am very sorry for the loss of Flossie Simmons. May the God of all comfort be with your family during this difficult time. The Bible promises at Acts 24:15, “that there will be a resurrection.” For further information, please visit jw.org.
