To my SisterTerry Reed Cook. and the family of Elaine, we were saddened when we heard of the loss of your dear mother sister, auntie and cousin. When I met Elaine several years ago she had both a sweet spirit & smile that brightened up the room. We have had you on our thoughts and prayers and will continue to do so, find some comfort in knowing that earth has no sorrow Heaven can’t heal. We are first cousins, and I know our families her as well as all the others. Whenever we did get together, Elaine was always the life of the party to me. Yes, there were others that shared that but Elaine was the one, I would look for at gatherings. Not minimizing anyone else but we also worked together for a short while. There was always laughter whenever Elaine was around, Knowing Elaine is no longer with us here on this side of life is tragic to me, but we all know that no one knows the hour or the time of our homegoing. I send my love, prayers, and condolence to the family. I end with quoting one of my favorite scriptures from the book of Ecclesiastes third chapter fourth verse; To everything, there is a season, a time to weep, and a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and a time to dance. Thankful and grateful for the time we shared, and will never forget Elaine. Thank you, Love Donna

We remember when Elaine rededicated her life to Christ one Sunday morning at Christ Presbyterian Church. She said that she was back to stay not only to just become a bench member but to work & serve the Lord. She was true to her word until her transition.
