The death of a loved one can cause much grief. Perhaps knowing what the Bible promises for Curtis’ future can help you focus on hopeful thoughts for him! “He (Jehovah) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:3-5) This means perfect health under perfect conditions can be the future for both the living and the dead, including Curtis! (John 6:40) As a family, be determined to share that cherished gift of God’s undeserved kindness with him!
SLICK you will be held close to my heart, I will truly miss you, you were a great brother in law and one of the best friends anyone could ever have , and to all of the family you have my sympathy and condolences,, I know you are dancing in the sky SLICK, we love you…..until we meet again!,
Dear Gibbs Family: The the unimaginable pain of losing a child, no matter the age, only a mother who has been through it can fully understand what you are feeling. The mixed emotions of sadness and anger. I know it may be difficult to grasp this now, but we are not alone, we have glorious hope! This hope is promised by Almighty God, it is a resurrection! (Acts 24:15; John 528, 29; John 6:40). He also promised “the righteous will possess the earth and live forever upon it. (Psalms 37:11, 29). At that time, there will be no more sickness of any kind, accidents, old age or death (Isaiah 33:24; Job 33:25; Revelation 21:3, 4).
Slick I will never forget that time I babysat you and Kim. You were three years old! You and Kim both cried all day! It was then that I knew I loved my little cousins because I turned around and babysat again the next week. You will be missed. You always gave me hugs when we saw each other. Rest in perfect peace. Pearline, Aunt Blodie, Niecy and all the rest are dancing with joy to see you.
