  4. Tina, Carla & Givens Family: Greetings from Atlanta. Sending my love and prayers for peace during this very difficult time. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
I’ll always have fond and fun memories of Butch teasing and checking on my mom (your neighbor and friend; Bernice). Although we attended the same high school, my most precious memories are those of Butch as my mom’s neighbor. Barbequing dinners, chillin on the porch, laughing loudly and singing songs with us during my summer visits. Capitol Heights has lost a great neighbor, but Heaven has gained a new neighbor; an Angel, Carvin (Butch) Givens, Jr.
    Love,

  5. Dear Tina and Givens Family: My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this most difficult time. When we lose someone we love it is like we have a missing limb. That feeling won’t go away completely until we can be with our loved one again. It is good that Almighty God has promised just such a gift. We read in the Holy Bible at Acts 24:15 “And I have hope toward God, … that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” Almighty God longs to restore our loved ones to us. The man Job said of God at Job 14:15: “You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands.” The True God longs to return our precious loved ones to us by means of the resurrection, thus healing our broken hearts …. 💔 ….. 💖 For more info go to: http://www.jw.org …….
