I worked with Albert at St. Luke’s Medical Center as part of the Physical Therapy team during his final weeks in the hospital. We developed a kinship during those half hour sessions and came to find we both loved Jesus Christ. On our last day together, we read from Cowman’s devotional about leaving the earth. He was having a harder time breathing on Saturday. He asked me to get my prayer group to pray for him. On Sunday morning, our group prayed for him and on the following Monday at work I found out he had died on Sunday. It is of great comfort to know he was bathed in prayer and rose to the arms of Jesus Christ the morning we were in prayer for him. Our God does not fail us. I am amazed …again. God bless you all as you grieve the loss of a great Christian.
