Andrew Knickrehm
Andrew Fred (ANDru “Trout”) Knickrehm transitioned from this world on 10/19/2021.
Born the third of four boys to Charles (d) and Mary (d) on 10 December 1953, Andy spent his youth in Kenosha, Wisconsin graduating from G.N.Tremper High School in 1972. Four years at Milton College (Wisconsin) developed his acting and music talents and following graduation in 1976, he moved into a life of adventure.
Andy Trout performed in community theater but really made his mark as a singer, accompanying himself on acoustic guitar or forming groups with other talented musicians in the East Troy and Waukesha areas, where he made a home base.
In 1982 -2011 Andy joined PiperRoadSpringBand as their guitarist, singing lead and harmony vocals.
“A Celebration of Life” events will be planned for future dates.









I thought of Andy today and could not remember when he passed away. I had to look it up and say how much I miss him. He sang “The Wedding Song” at our wedding and I still have the recording. He was such a kind and caring human and I’m sorry he is gone from this world.
Trout was always a friendly face to see. He was a very caring man who had concern for others.
Andrew Knickeram was a role model and hero to me. he called me on my 21st birthday, he always played guitar and sang for us, I was depending on repaying and seeing him again
