  1. Jackie, thank you for your phenomenal service of love to All Saints Catholic Church. You were an excellent example of a faithful servant of the Lord.

  2. Jackie was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Milwaukee, WI. She was also in our gospel choir. It was an honor to be a fellow alto with Jackie. She sung her heart out! Jackie was also an outstanding leader in our church and a phenomenal lector. When she read the Word of the Lord she made sure you understood what the Lord was saying by repeating a part of the verse 2 or 3 times! She is the only lector I’ve ever heard in my 35+ years at our church or any other Catholic Church with this style of professing the Word! She reminded me of MLK in her delivery! It was so unforgettable and uplifting to us all! She left an indelible mark on All Saints and all who knew her and she will be dearly missed. Sending my deepest condolences to Jackie’s family and friends. Our choir and church would not be where we are today without Jackie and we are forever grateful for her service of love. God bless you and may you be comforted that Jackie knew God and she is in His loving arms forever. Let us all hold on to out faith and remember that this is but a temporary separation and we will meet again.

  3. My sincerest condolences to Jackie’s daughter, sister, Lois, and other family members as well as her church family. May the Lord comfort you as promised in Matthew 5:4. As a young adult, I attended St. Boniface with Jackie and fellowshipped with her outside of church. She was a wonderful person and I believe, by faith, that she rests in the loving arms of our God.

  4. Auntie Jackie was a loving and vivacious women. She was always warm, kind and a joy to be around. She loved life and family. She will be greatly missed. Much love from the children of Bernardine Martin. Curtis, Ursula, Carla, Theron and Felicia.

  5. May her soul rest peacefully in the Master arms. This old earthly world is no longer troublesome for her. Shes earned her wings. Fly high Angel.

  6. My sincere condolences to the family. Jacqueline was a mother to me , she always treated like her son.” Andrew find a good job so you can provide to family “when she came back from Uganda . I will always miss her love and kindness.

  7. My deepest condolences to the family, I remember miss Jackie from All Saints choir and being a spiritual sister to my mom , she always always had a beautiful ,caring smile and she always showed and shared the love of the Lord and family she will be missed but never forgotten and I’ll always see her Beautiful smile when ever I feel down .

  8. To my family as I remember Jackie. I remember as a child growing up is when she use to come stay over by our house on weekends, and she and my sister would always run me out the room because I was too little to hang with them. You see too many people didn’t know how the Martin’s were related to the Barra’s. Well this is the way it goes. Jackie’s mother and my father were sister and brother. Oh how we all had a bond with each of us. They all were different, but the Martin’s took care of the Barra’s. If one knew we were in trouble they or one of them was gonna solve it. They protected us. You see it was five 5 of us and fifteen 15 of them . We were raised to love each other know matter what. Tears 😭 are falling for the lost of my first cousin Jackie but God doesn’t make any mistakes. Sleep on Cuz and take your rest. I’m sure you’re having fun with the rest of our family. It’s a reunion up there. Love πŸ’• you.

  9. With deepest sympathy I’m so sorry for your loss praying πŸ™ for and with you family. May God strengthen you family and keep you in prefect peace.

  10. My memories are too many to share, as a little boy you was my caregiver. You groomed me to be a step in front of all others. I touched millions because of who you groomed me to be. The world is a better place because you lived. Girl I love you more than life and I can’t even understand why or what if or what I should have done or could have done. You will forever and ever be the shining star in my life and I will cherish that until we meet again. Your loving brother Anthony.

  11. My deepest and sincere condolences to the family of Jackie.I worked with Jackie for awhile at Heartis. And from the beginning she was the life of the party. From her cleaning singing and dancing. She would always sing every praise and worship with us.I’m truly going to miss her.I love you so much Jackie until we meet again

  12. Memories of living in a HOME built by our father’s oen hands. Oh how you loved to keep that home immaculate. Tears as you left New Roads for college and later to move to Milwaukee. Joy as I watched you take your wedding vows. Tears as you grieved the loss of your son. Endless laughter when you spent time with Garland and I in our homes. Sweet memories to numerous to mention but still not enough when I realyze you are gone and there will be no more memories for us. Right now with a shattered heart I feel compelled to do one thing. I would like to thank God for giving us so much time to gather. We were never guaranteed a fixed number of years. I thak God for what we had and will not think about what we could have had. I except the fact that it is my turn to taste sorrow. I will look at what I have and that is heartfelt years living in our family . My memories I knoe will sustain me forever . One of my sister’s favorite songs was “Order MySteps.” I firmly believe that God has done that for Jackie. I feel she led a life that was rooted in spirituality. She strived daily to walk and talk with God. My tears are happy tears of love and gratitude. I thank God that our love for each other is still alive at this very moment. I feel surrounded by your invisible presence that will guide me to this process. Jackie I will miss you forever and always. You were and awesome sister and friend. Never good bye but so long until we meet again When we all get to Heaven what a time it will be. (Milika I am so very proud of you. I will continue to pray for you as you learn to live without your mother. I am always a phone call away) Aunt Pamela Gauthier

  13. My sister sent me this photo of her in the last supper she said she wanted to be at the table so she photo cropped herself in . You were my sister my strengths m and my pride only God knows why. I’m so empty inside my tears I can not hide but I’m going to try and face the pain. Though I’m missing you I’ll find a way too get though.

    • I came to Milwaukee in 1993. When I got here from Louisiana, the first thing my aunt Jackie ask me was ” Bryan it gets cold here do you have a coat? I said” no Tee but I have a jacket” she told me that wasn’t going to be enough for the weather up here so she marched me down to the Kohls on Appleton and Burleigh and bought me my first Milwaukee coat, hat, and scarf. Rest in heavenly peace Tee.

  15. I’ve known Jackie for some months. I Loved Jackie dearly. She had a great soul. I will miss her greatly. I felt like she was my Aunt. I was Blessed to be able to care for Jackie for almost a year. We have sang, danced, laughed, and inspired one another. I Love You Jackie! You are in a far better place.
