Hello. I’m Sheila and I am sending my condolences on your recent loss. I am one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and would like to ask you the question, can your dead loved one live again?
You will be surprised to find that in the Bible at Acts 24:15 it says, “There is going to be a resurrection.” Along with God’s promise to us at Revelation 21:3, 4.

The death of a loved one can cause much sadness. When Jesus’s friend Lazarus died, he groaned in his spirit and became troubled. He even cried. So when your grief of Diane’s death becomes overbearing, our loving Heavenly Father encourages us to throw our burden upon him, and he will sustain us. (Psalm 55:22; 1 Peter 5:6-7). Approaching God in prayer can also be faith strengthening as we focus on the future promises found in God’s word. (John 6:40; Isaiah 25:8; Isaiah 33:24; Luke 23:43)
Dear Wade and Wiggins Families: I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to your family in your time of loss. For those who grieve there is no detour around it or no shortcut through it. However, 2Corinthians 4:7 says that God can give us “… power beyond what is normal…” to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry or that we forget, it means we recover. We recover because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope and John 5:28, 29 which says: “… all those in the memorial tombs (the grave) will hear his (Jesus) voice and come out…”. Jesus was refering to the resurrection, a bringing back to life, in the flesh, here on Earth! That is our amazing hope! To see and be with our loved ones again, right here on Earth! The Holy Bible likens our hope to an ‘anchor for souls’ (Hebrews 6:19). Just like an anchor stabilizes a ship, Our hope stabilizes us and keeps us from drowning and overwhelming sadness. One way that God comforts us today is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May “the God of all comfort” be with you and yours now, during this time of sorrow (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4)…..
