Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My heart is saddened to hear of your passing…. Thank you for the love that you gave me and my son, Josiah…. I know that the Lord is well pleased with your service to Him…. Take your rest Sis. Wanda….

    Crystal Purifoy and Josiah Baskin

  2. Thank you for the light of Christ we all saw in your life. You are a rich blessing we got to experience.

  3. I will remember your smile, your sense of humor, your class and your strength. Rest well ❤️

  4. Wanda, although we didn’t see one another on a daily, whenever we did see one another whether it’s at a family function or just in Pick n Save, you always had to big Kool-aid smile. I saw how hard it was for you when my brother Donald passed because you two were pretty close. And each time I look at your photo, I feel down.

So, to my family, The Evans, to all your siblings, much love and I will never forget you.

  5. I have no words that can adequately convey how sad I am knowing you are no longer here. My gratititude for having you as my big sister is undeniable. You poured wisdom in me and gave me cheat codes to the game at 15 that only now I’m beginning to fully understand in my adult years. You taught me dignity and spoke always unapologetically to the “diva” in me that many would race to try and extinguish. You did it not out of arrogance or to encourage pride, but from knowing the assignment from God you had in my life.

You weren’t just my “sister in Christ”…you WERE my big sister. You were the one that protected me, nurtured me, and carried me to safety in the absence of my mother. I want you to know that I teach Phoenix many of the lessons you taught me. She may not understand it now, but she will because you taught me how to live it as an example. Although, my tears seem to have taken the reigns – My heart is at peace knowing you are no longer suffering. Thank you for gifting me with your presence.

I love you forever, “Wanna”. Rest well. ❤️
    ~San

  6. My loving sister… I will truly miss you, but our Father God needed you back with him.. I will never question God!! No more pain!

  7. Loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Auntie, Niece, Cousin and Dear Friend….
Whenever I’m down, I call on you, my friend
A helping hand you lend in my time of need, so I
I’m calling you now, just to make it through
What else can I do? Won’t you hear my plea?
Friends may come, and friends may go
    But you should know that
That I’ve got your back, it’s automatic
    So never hesitate to call
‘Cause I’m your sister and always for ya, and I
Don’t know what I’d ever do without you
From the beginning ’til the end
You’ve always been here right beside me
So, I’ll call you my best friend…… I love you Sister and will keep you memories alive…
