  1. Hello. I’m Sheila and I am sending my condolences on your recent loss. I am one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and would like to ask you the question, can the dead live again? Yes? No? Maybe?

You will be surprised to find that in the Bible at Acts 24:15 it says, “There is going to be a resurrection.” Along with God’s promise to us at Revelation 21:3, 4.

It is my hope that this bit of information is of comfort to you. Please be sure to find videos, movies, articles, and even an online Bible – all free of charge for your use, along with information on the resurrection, and current events on JW.ORG

    May God be with you.

    Sincerely,
    Sheila M. Robinson

  2. Charlotte and family, we are thinking of you and wishing you comfort, courage and peace to face tomorrow as we celebrate your dear husband and father. Larry and Artis Turner.

  3. I’m sending my sincere condolences to the McCollum family and friends. This is one of life’s greatest challenges that we have to face. Jesus said, did, and promised something that gives us comfort and hope. In the Bible at John 11:11-14, Jesus likened death to sleep. This comfort us in two ways: 1) we are assured by those words that our loved ones are not suffering or in pain. 2) If a person is just sleeping, he will wake up! Notice what Jesus does next at John 11:43-44, this is amazing! If you would like to know more details about this, please download a free copy of the brochure Good News from God @ Jw.org and read lesson 6 along with the Bible.

  4. We send our deepest sympathy and condolences to Sadie, Charlotte, Annie and their families in the loss of Howard. We smile as we remember the good times. Know that you are in our prayers. We pray that the Lord will strengthen and comfort you in the days to come and we are so thankful that although we grieve, we do not grieve as those with no hope (I Thessalonians 4:13-18).
    Daisy and Alicia McCollum

  5. My condolences to the family and loved ones, especially to Sadie, Charlotte and Annie. Take care, Nathalie Francis

  6. Dear McCollum Family: My deepest sympathies on your loss of Howard. When we lose someone we love it is like we have a missing limb. That feeling won’t go away completely until we can be with our loved one again. It is good that Almighty God has promised just such a gift. We read in the Holy Bible at Acts 24:15 “And I have hope toward God, … that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” Yes, a bringing back to life, here on earth, where we can see and be with our loved ones again….that is what we want and miss….It is good that God has promised just such a gift. Almighty God longs to restore our loved ones to us. The man Job said of God at Job 14:15: “You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands.” The True God longs to return our precious loved ones to us by means of the resurrection, thus healing our broken hearts …….
